On January 16, Heinrich Brüning, founds a dried fruit import business under his own name. The company is based in the Asia-Haus in downtown Hamburg.
Acquisition of CMF Plummenschmidt, making Heinrich Brüning the first dried fruit importer in Germany with the capability to machine-package products for end consumers.
His son, Hartwig Brüning, joins the company.
The company relocates to the Hamburg port ared in Wilhelmsburg. Operations, storage facilities, and administration are consolidated on a site covering approximately 14,000 square meters.
Marc Brüning joins the company, initially as a dispatcher and later as a trader.
Frank C. Rump joins the company.
Marc Brüning, together with Frank C. Rump, becomes Managing Director and Partner of Heinrich Brüning GmbH.
With the establishment of an in-house production site at Stenzelring, the partnership with CFM Plummerschmidt—formerly responsible for packaging—was concluded. Production has since been managed entirely by internal staff
